The Trust consists of volunteers working together with other organisations to improve the quality of life of those living in Seaton and the adjoining parishes. The Trust, started as the Seaton Regeneration initiative, began in January 1996, sparked off by a general feeling that something had to be done to put new life into Seaton. Over 350 people attended the inaugural meeting. Over 90 active volunteers spent the following year developing the main themes suggested at the meeting. Over 1000 people attended a “Planning for Real” exhibition and made comments. Over 225 recommendations went into the Seaton Regeneration Report, presented in January 1997. | ||||||
